Kaay fecc festival

The association Kaay Fecc was founded by four professional dancers: Tamba Jean Honore Mendy, and Marianne Nganti Towo Niox. In late 2001, Diagne Gacirah joined the steering committee, followed Waxed Cisse and Malal Ndiaye.

Founded in 2001, the Association Kaay Fecc conducts activities to promote development and professionalization of dance in Senegal and is considering developing a sustainable cultural policy development, serving the dance and the continent.

Alongside the festival held every two years, the association develops many activities:

A program of vocational training for dancers of intermediate level course in professionalism.

The first 2002-2003 program includes eight modules and one month over two years.

An awareness program and dance workshops with children "to the discovery of the dance 'in primary schools and workshops for street children in partnership with structure" Empire of children. "

A collaborative program with dancers with disabilities, training and creating a dance piece.
