City tour : Culture Focused

When you think of African music, drums come usually as first, then sometimes balafon, the wooden xylophone. Well, don't worry, you will see and hear some ! But we will introduce you into the real musical tradition, the gueweul tradition, West African bard oral chant followed by Kora, this african harp with a calebasse as a resonning box. And you will have the chance to be explained by him the tradition of his art before listening to his performance.

You will also discover the places where art is living : cultural centers, theaters etc ... to see shows of paintings,scupture, etc ...concerts of mbalakh or Senegalese rap, dancing performances.

If you resquest so, you will also brought to and guided in IFAN, Dakar main museum, but this means you will skip some other part of the live culture .... Just tell u sand we will see together.

Then if booked engough time before check in, all the team will look around (family& friends) to see if there would be a traditionnal family celebration in which you could be invited ....
